One of the most gratifying experiences for our think tank was the opportunity to give back to our community. Our collective decision led us to extend a helping hand to the dedicated women responsible for keeping Kigali's roads clean. Engaging in this initiative was not only fulfilling but also provided us with a deeper connection to the realities of their daily lives. Participating in the cleanup efforts alongside these women was a truly enriching experience. Beyond the physical act of cleaning the roadways, we took the time to engage in meaningful conversations with them. This allowed us to gain insights into the challenges they face and the resilience they exhibit in their daily routines. The personal connection forged during this endeavor added a profound layer to our understanding of their experiences. In tandem with our hands-on assistance, we endeavored to raise awareness among the wider community about the significance of valuing the hard work these women contribute. By sharing our insights and experiences, we aimed to spotlight their pivotal role in maintaining Kigali's reputation as the cleanest city. This awareness campaign sought to foster a greater appreciation for their efforts, encouraging others to recognize and acknowledge the invaluable contribution these women make to the city's aesthetic appeal. In summary, our involvement in supporting the women who uphold the cleanliness of Kigali's roads was not just a benevolent act but an immersive experience that deepened our connection to the community. It underscored the importance of empathy, understanding, and collective efforts in creating a more supportive and appreciative environment for those whose contributions often go unnoticed.
